Among North America’s most distinguished tango performers and teachers: US Tango Champion, Tango Salon finalist, and semifinalist at the 2005 World competition in Buenos Aires. Her rare gift is unraveling tango’s complexity while igniting a passion for it in her students. For her, tango is a dialogue between two human beings, everything we feel but don’t put into words.

Her love affair with tango began in Paris, at the Trocadéro, where the sound of unfamiliar music stopped her under the watchful eye of La Dame de Fer. Years of admiring the dance from afar ended with Edie Windsor’s mantra, “don’t postpone joy,” and a search for a teacher who would embrace a woman who leads. She found Madame C.
